About us
Frosty Trails is a family based, eco touristic husky farm with it’s home on the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lapland. We offer winter holidays on our husky farm as well as day tours.
Who we are
We are Kristien and Olav, and we live on a small farm in arctic Sweden. We have got our own pack of 30 huskies who are living in dog pens close to our house. Our dogs are both Alaskan and Siberian Huskies. We prioritize good dog care, and we work with an eco touristic approach.
Winter is our high season and we have snow for 7 months a year. During the short summer, we grow our own potatoes and vegetables. We also try to catch up on maintenance and our building projects. In autumn, we train our huskies, so they are fit for the winter season again! Off season, Kristien offers handicraft courses for kids.
The company is named after our oldest lead dog Frosty, who passed away in march 2018, after a long and happy life!
